I was amazed from all the skillful ceramists and artists and was happy to hear about their work. Working on street art has influenced my take on clay profoundly. Specially the esthetics of tags (the fast signatures of graffiti artists) have made big difference. With this series I´m transforming the spirit of tags to 3D ceramic lines with dripping and layered glazes. Part of these wallpieces  will be exhibited in December at Paperihuone Galleria, Hämeenlinna.

Hauras Metsä/ Fragile Forest

This is the first take on placing my Hauras/Fragile tiles on an environmental art context at Sierijärvi, Rovaniemi.  With the word hauras/fragile I´m refering of course to the material itself but also to the history of the human race and living in the the middle of climate change. It´s fascinating how the surroundings is always transforming the work and how to read it.
